Chair Based Pilates
These brand new classes are especially designed for people who have less mobility but still wish to benefit from the Pilates programme.
Offering tailored programmes of exercise for people who are experiencing mobility issues relating to either shoulders, spine, hips or knees. This programme will also be of benefit to the older generation, as it will enhance their mobility and general well being. We will introduce appropriate hand held equipment to facilitate the desired movement and therefore attain greater understanding of the exercise being taught in conjunction with a focus on safety and individual care.
Classes are taught in a friendly, approachable and professional manner offering a unique service to mobilise joints and strengthen musculature. The exercises have been specially adapted so that they can be performed sitting on a chair or standing whilst being supported by the chair.
